DeiraBio converts waste wood into a refinery-ready bio-crude through fast pyrolysis and catalytic upgrading — giving UK refiners a route to non-HEFA SAF mandate compliance, without building a new drop-in fuel plant.
DeiraBio will sell refiners a substitute crude. We will develop smaller, decentralised pyrolysis and upgrading facilities, using mature technology. The plants will convert solid biomass into a bio-crude sold at a premium to fossil crude, letting refiners make SAF.
Why do this now?
The moment for this pathway has arrived.
Every link either side of biocrude production is a mature, existing operation. The conversion step is the one part of this chain nobody in the UK is doing.
